Reshmi Sorokhaibam (born 1995) is a celebrated Manipuri actress known for her contributions to the regional film industry in Manipuri language (Meeteilon). She began her acting career at the age of 17, introduced to the world of cinema by a relative, Okendro Khundongbam. Her talent quickly shone through, and she has since become a prominent figure in Manipuri films.
In 2024, Reshmi’s skill and dedication to her craft were recognized when she won the ‘Best Actor Female North East’ at the Prag Cine Awards for her role in the film ‘Bamon Ibemma’, directed by Bijgupta Laishram. This accolade is a testament to her exceptional abilities and her rising status in the film industry.
Some of the films she works include Nungshirubana (2021), Sangjinkhraba Machu (2021). She has also work on stage drama Lamkhei Wathok by Lamjing Arts and Culture Association, Irabot by Manipur Dramatic Union and Haoba Konu by Manipur Dramatic Union.
