Nongju Ahing (2002)

The Master belongs to a wealthy family. He has a daughter Malemnganbi who lost her mother at a young age. He took care of his daughter lavishly, providing her whatever she desired. Malemnganbi had an accident when she rammed her motorcycle against a tribal woman at the marketplace. The tribal woman died. Compensation was paid for the death. Yet, the husband of the tribal woman seethed with anger thought of revenge. He promised to himself to make Malemnangbi his spouse. Malemnganbi went on a tour to Moreh with her friends. On the way, she was kipnapped by the husband of the tribal woman. Fortunately for her, Sushi! who did business at Moreh saved her. Malemnangbi was in love with Sushi!. Her father accepted Sushi I as his daughter's husband. Sushi! stayed at Jiri. Malemnganbi, unfortunately, was unable to bear a child. Sushi! married another girl named Thaballei. She soon gave birth to a son. Thaballei's father stole the new born baby and handed it to Malemngangbi's father. When Thaballei woke up, she missed her son and rushed to the Shiva mandir where she usually went for prayer. But Malemnganbi didn't want the child. She cared not for her adopted son. Malemnganbi retracts into a dark lonely life.
