Herojit Naoroibam (Manipuri Script Writer, Lyricist, Director) was born at Keishamthong Elangbam Leikai and was the son of late Naoroibam Nodiachand and Momon Devi. Herojit became a household name as a script writer for his radio play 'Nama Do Chaphu Huranbini'. Some of his notable radio plays are Dharma Gi Ming Da Emagid-amak', 'Pi Thadoi Ahum', 'Hangam Maru Pokhaibi', 'Sangbrei Mana Gi Chenghi Manam', etc. His directorial debut was based on his radio play Nama Do Chaphu Huranbini'.
