Storyline
Manomati (Manomoti) is the third Assamese film from Assam. It was directed & produced by Rohini Kumar Baruah. The film was released in 1941. Manomoti was based on a 1900 novel of the same name by Rajani Kanta Bordoloi. The novel Manomoti has historical background and was set during the last few years of Ahom rule in Assam. The lead character in the film was acted by Mohini. Music director of Manomati was Kamal Narayan Choudhury.
