Danube Kangjam, a law student hailing from Imphal, has made significant strides in the world of beauty pageants. Inspired by Mega Miss North East 2015 winner Jessica Marbaniang, Danube’s dream of participating in this prestigious contest became a reality. Her crowning moment came during the 18th Sunsilk Mega Miss North East 2021, where she stood out among 47 other contestants. The beauty contest, held at the ITA Cultural Complex in Machkhowa, Guwahati, showcased her hard work, confidence, and dedication. Beyond the pageant stage, Danube Kangjam also ventured into acting, appearing in films such as “Leichil Mafol (2020)” and “Nurabi the Virgin (2020)”, further establishing her presence in the entertainment industry. With her advocacy for education and dreams of representing Manipur in the Miss India pageant, Danube continues to inspire others to pursue their aspirations and create meaningful change.
