Soma Laishram is an Indian film actress/actor and singer who appears in Manipur films. She is a native of Imphal, India. She did her schooling from Little Flowers School and Temple of Learning, Imphal. She completed her Bachelor of Arts from CMJ University. Soma started her own YouTube Channel of the same name of her on 31 January 2020. The channel became the fastest hit of 100 thousand/1 Lakh subscribers in Manipur.

Soma appeared in teleplays, drama and anchored as a programme presenter in DDK Imphal.

Her first music video album was Hey Girl alongside Mahesh Thounaojam. Her first film was Phijang Marumda (2011), where she is playing a MBBS student, alongside Rajkumar Kaiku in a supporting role. After this, she has done a number of Meitei films. Among the notable ones are Loiba Taare Ta Raju (2011), Ang Tamo (2012), Amamba Sayon (2013), Hoo Chaage (2014), Toro (2015), Hingbagee Mahao (2015), and Nangna Nokpa Yengningi (2015)

A solo music album Angaoba Malang was also released where she sang in her own voice and acted. As of 2017, she has acted in a Meitei-Portuguese music video Nura Pakhang (Eu e Tu), directed by Romi Meitei and sung by Mangka Mayanglambam and Manuela Clã.

Soma Laishram won the Best Actor Award - Female for her role Thoinu in the film Enakta Leiringei (2017) at the 11th Manipuri State Film Awards 2018.
